BLOTTER: Police reports published May 5

• SHOTS FIRED: Officers are investigating a report of shots fired which was received at 11:03 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue. Police located a possible crime scene with two baseball caps, a set of car keys and a wallet on the ground near a house. They also report locating five spent casings on the property along with two vehicles — a black Mercedes and a silver Ford. The black Mercedes had an expired Virginia registration and the Ford, also from Virginia, was reported stolen. None of the home’s occupants claimed knowledge or any involvement.
