Two charged after car found in Cambria field

Two Sanborn residents were charged Thursday night after their car was found in a field off of Saunders Settlement Road.

Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Saunders Settlement Road about 11:50 p.m. for a report of a car that had driven off the road, through someone’s front yard and into an open field. Deputies said everyone in the car appeared intoxicated.

Misae Eimon, 43, 5835 Unicorn Drive, Apt. 208, Sanborn was charged with DWI, failure to use the designated lane, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of over 0.08 percent, and imprudent speed.  Duke O. Omara, 36,  5835 Unicorn Drive was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration.

Eimon failed field sobriety tests. A Datamaster test showed her to have a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content.

Omara reportedly interfered with deputies, yelling obscenities during the investigation and was taken into custody.
