Gutter thefts plague Falls residents

Niagara Falls Police dealt with several reports of stolen gutters this weekend in the North End.

A resident on Fourth Street reported to police that sometime Saturday night someone damaged a 16-foot section of gutters on the garage and a 10-foot section of aluminum trim on the front of their garage. The suspect then took a 10-foot aluminum down spout. The estimated loss is $600.

A resident on the 500 block of 16th Street told police that sometime Saturday night someone took two sections of gutter were taken from their garage. The estimated loss is $200. 

Police reported multiple thefts of gutters in the 500 block alleyway between 15th and 16th streets during the night.
