BLOTTER: Police reports published May 18

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase while she deliberately crashed her car into another vehicle. Tanika Ruthia Knighton, 30, 2927 22nd St., was charged with second-degree reckless driving, reckless driving, driving on a sidewalk, unreasonable speed, improper lane use, second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police said Knighton was observed by an off-duty officer, at 4:38 p.m. Thursday in the area of 77th Street, speeding and deliberately striking another car with her vehicle. Officers gave chase down 78th Street and on to Niagara Falls Boulevard before the two cars finally ground to a stop in a parking lot off of 80th Street. Police said Knighton had her children in her car at the time of the incident.

 
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1700 block of Lafayette Avenue. A property manager told police that sometime between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into a property he was taking care of by pulling plywood off of exterior doorways. The victim said $1,500 worth of copper pipe, $600 worth of electrical wire and a hot water tank were taken.
