BLOTTER: Police reports published June 15


• THEFT: Officers are looking into a van break-in on Rainbow Boulevard. A 20-year-old woman told police that sometime between 9:45 and 10 p.m. Thursday someone broke into her 2008 Chevy Expres by damaging a passenger-side door lock. The victim said a speaker and purse were taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 3400 block of Ninth Street. A 24-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into her apartment through an unlocked window, The victim said a 32-inch flat screen TV was taken.

• POSSESSION: Stephanie A. Raff, 20, of Lockport, was given an appearance ticket and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Raff was charged by New York State Police on Upper Mountain Road.

• DWI: Frederick W. House, 48, 9466 Rose Road, Middleport, was charged at 1:40 a.m. Thursday with driving while intoxicated. Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies reported House was on his way back home from a concert in Lewiston on his motorcycle when he struck a cow on Wheeler Road. While speaking to police, deputies said they noticed an odor of alcohol on House’s breath. House reportedly said he had two beers at the concert. House was given an appearance ticket to report Tuesday at Newfane Town Court. He suffered minor cuts in the collision, according to the report.
