• BURGLARY: A property owner in the 6200 block of Jockey Road reported a garage was broken into, and quantities of battery cables and welding cables were taken, sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Two welding cables were black and measured about 75 feet long each, the sheriff's report said; one had a stinger end, the other had a ground clamp and both had an eyelet on one end. The battery cables were red and black and measured about 2 feet long each. The door frame on the garage was damaged, the report noted.

• BURGLARY: A property owner in the 1900 block of Fuller Road reported his garage was broken into, and items were taken, overnight Tuesday-Wednesday. It appeared someone tried to raise an overhead door with a crowbar or similar object and damaged the door in the process, the sheriff's report said; the chain on a mandoor was cut and that door was damaged as well. The owner said a couple of red plastic 5-gallon gas cans, and about 8 gallons of gas, were taken. Damage to the garage is estimated at $400.

Ransomville
