• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the area of Walnut Avenue and Whirlpool Street. A 33-year-old man told officers he was walking with a woman in that area at 9:40 p.m. Monday when they were approached by three men. The victim said two of the suspects were wearing black masks. One suspect had a black handgun and the other was armed with a shotgun. The suspect with the shotgun demanded that the victim and his friend "put down their (shopping) bags and empty their pockets." He then pumped the shotgun and ejected a shell. The suspects grabbed the bags and then ran from the scene. The victim said the bags contained an iPad, an iPad mini, an iPhone 4, a camcorder, two passports and some cash. 

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1000 block of South Avenue. A 25-year-old woman told police that sometime between 4:30 and 10:30 p.m. Monday someone broke into her apartment by damaging a door. The victim said a TV, an Xbox game system and some jewelry was taken.

• THEFT: Police are looking into a car break-in in the area of Prospect Point. A tourist told officers that sometime between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Monday someone broke into her 2011 Chrysler Town and County by smashing the front passenger-side window. The victim said her purse was taken.
