BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 1

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 700 block of Builders Way at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Johnathon Anthony Haley, 23, 519 71st St., Apt. 1, was charged with petit larceny. Haley is accused taking two power tool batteries without paying for them.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 3200 block of Ninth Street. A 34-year-old man told officers that sometime between noon Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday, someone broke into his vacant apartment by walking through an unlocked door. The victim said a rented television and a rented PlayStation 3 game system were taken.
