Local and federal drug investigators nab major coke supplier with violent past

Niagara Gazette — Young, 38, 2153 Bedell Road, Apt. 9-B, was charged by federal authorities with possession of (cocaine) with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine. He will be arraigned in U.S. District Court in Buffalo.

Also on Tuesday night, narcotics investigators took down a Linwood Avenue pot house. Emergency Response Team officers hit the home at 2948 Linwood Ave. looking for Christopher Stevens.

“This investigation was going on for months and was a result of a lot of neighborhood complaints,” LeGault said. “It was a concern too because it was right across the street from the Hyde Park baseball diamonds, so we wanted to address that.”

Inside Stevens’ home, investigators recovered a small amount of marijuana and found three or four pot plants growing in the basement. They also found marijuana in a bedroom of the home that was reportedly used by Stevens’ father.

Stevens, 22, 2948 Linwood Ave., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and growing cannibus. His father, Timothy Hunt, 41, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
