• SHOOTING: Police are investigating a shooting incident in the 900 block of Depot Avenue. A 35-year-old woman told officers she was driving in that area at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, when someone fired "an unknown projectile" at her car. The impact of the projectile smashed the driver's-side front window and cracked the driver's-side front mirror. The victim was struck in the face by broken glass. Three juvenile suspects have been identified in connection with the shooting.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1600 block of Whirlpool Street. A 45-year-old woman told police that a friend of hers came to her house at 9 p.m. Sunday and pushed in an air conditioning unit in a bedroom window. The man then climbed through the window and attempted to talk to the victim. The woman said she hit the suspect in the head with a large wooden spoon and told him to leave her home. The suspect then climbed back out of the window and ran away.
