BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 12

Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 1:45 p.m. Thursday. Marissa Ann Martell, 34, 2490 Forest Ave., Apt. 1, was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking almost $100 worth of groceries without paying for them.

• ARREST:  A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Shane Dieter Stephen, 31, 1027 15th St., was charged with petit larceny. He is accused of taking almost $75 worth of groceries without paying for them.
