BLOTTER: Police reports published March 29

Niagara Falls

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station at the corner of 19th Street and Ferry Avenue at 3:27 a.m. Wednesday. The station owner told officers that two suspects, wearing black clothes and ski masks, entered the store and took the cash register. The victim said one of the suspects was armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun and that he tripped as he entered the business and fired off a shot. The suspects were last seen running west toward 19th Street. 

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday. Brenda Faye Mayfield, 46, 1021 20th St., was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $171 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
