Facebook message leads to lockdown

Niagara Catholic High School was on lockdown for a brief time Thursday, after a dispute over a cell phone.

Niagara Falls Police say a 17-year-old student and another student, under the age of 15, got into a dispute over a cell phone. The younger student allegedly used Facebook to threaten to shoot the older student.

The school was then put into lockdown as the student's locker and property was searched by police. No weapons were found.

Police say no charges were filed in the case.
