• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault at LaSalle Preparatory School. The mother of a 14-year-old girl told officers that her daughter was in a hallway at the school at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday when another student burned her on the face with a lighter. The mother told police this was part of an ongoing series of bullying incidents involving her daughter and the suspect.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from a car in the 2700 block of Cleveland Avenue. A 26-year-old woman told police that sometime between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday someone entered her unlocked car and took a nursing bag that contained medical supplies and a GPS system.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Antawnetta Daniels, 26, 1 C Packard Court, was charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. Daniels is accused of taking cleaning supplies, clothing and DVDs without paying for them. She also had four grams of pot in her possession when she was taken into custody.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1900 block of Niagara Street. A 41-year-old man told officers that sometime between 6:45 and 7:15 p.m. Tuesday someone broke into his apartment through an unlocked bedroom window. The victim his computer system and a DVD were taken.
