BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 11

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Police are looking for a woman who gassed up at a Niagara Falls Boulevard car wash and never paid for the fuel. An employee told police he watched a woman, driving a green Pontiac G6, pull into the pumps in the 7900 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 5:50 p.m. and saw her pump more tha $52 worth of gasoline. The woman then got back in the car and drove away. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

Wheatfield

 CHARGED: Paul L. Joy, 37, 7230 Ward Road, was charged with trespassing Thursday afternoon, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Joy was charged after a neighbor reported that Joy had been riding a four-wheel vehicle on his property despite being told he could not. The neighbor said he was concerned about a deep pond on the property and was able to provide deputies with images from trail cameras of Joy riding on the property.

• FRAUD: A woman on Ward Road told sheriff’s deputies she received a call Thursday from a man who said he was from Publisher’s Clearing House and that she had won $4 million. The woman hung up after the man told her the money was coming from Puerto Rico and she’d have to pay $1,050 in shipping costs. Later in the evening, a woman called to confirm the contest but the woman hung up again. She told deputies the two people wanted her to call a 1-866 number.

City of Lockport

• MENACING: John W. Walsh, 29, 185 Washburn St. was charged Sunday with second-degree menacing. According to the report, Lockport Police were dispatched to downtown bar, where Walsh had allegedly pulled a knife on the bartender. He was told to stand up and place his hands on the table at which time a pocket knife was found in his possession.
