BLOTTER: Police reports published April 1

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft which occurred at 7:30 a.m. Saturday from a convenience store in the 2600 block of Niagara Street. A store employee said a woman wearing black clothes and a carrying a blue bag entered the store and took seven bottles of dish soap, two containers of cleaner, two packages of bacon and three packages of sausage without paying. The value of the items is $50.46.

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested following a shoplifting incident which occurred at 10:22 a.m. Saturday at a grocery store in the 1000 block of Portage Road. Vera Mangel, 34, 494 24th St., was charged with petit larceny after store security observed her take several packages of Benadryl allergy medication and put them in her pocket. After she attempted to leave the store without paying, she was reportedly stopped. The property is valued at $20.63.
