• THEFT: Police say they have identified and are looking for two suspects in connection with a theft from a store in the 1500 block of Military Road on Jan. 2. One suspect distracted store employees, while the second suspect loaded a DVD player and a 50-inch TV into a shopping cart. The suspects then walked to the exit door and as they did, one suspect tossed a crumpled-up piece of paper in a basketball throwing motion. As the suspect passed a store employee he said, “What do you get for making a basket? A free TV.” Both suspects face charges of petit larceny.
