• DWI: James R. Finan, 29, 105 Nancy Lane, Amherst, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to use designated lane Friday. According to the arrest report, Finan was observed driving his vehicle over the center line numerous times on Campbell Boulevard at 4:19 a.m. There was an odor of alcohol and Finan had glassy eyes and slurred speech, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said. He failed field sobriety tests, according to the arrest report. Finan’s license was found to be suspended for failure to pay summons in the Town of Lockport and Town of Tonawanda. His blood alcohol content was over 0.08 percent and he was transported to the Niagara County Jail, the report said.
