BLOTTER: Police reports published March 15

— Niagara Falls

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday. Eugene L. Corsaro, 33, 1201 86th St., was charged with petit larceny. Corsaro is accused of taking almost $25 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

 
• ARREST: A Canadian woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday. Deanna L. Hollender, 42, 233 B Vine St., St. Catharines, was charged with petit larceny. Hollender is accused of taking more than $28 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

 
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 2700 block of Orleans Avenue. A 27-year-old woman told police that sometime between 9 a.m and 10 p.m. Tuesday someone broke into her apartment by possibly removing a door. The victim said a 60-inch TV was taken.

 
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 2300 block of Hyde Park Boulevard at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Phyllis R. Reese, 48, 712 Division St., lower, was charged with petit larceny. Reese is accused of taking a bottle of laundry detergent without paying for it.

 
• INCIDENT: Police responded to a call of shots heard in the 1300 block of Whitney Avenue at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. Officers said witnesses reported hearing five gun shorts. No victims, suspects or evidence was located at the scene.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop on A Street at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. John K. Hill, 33, 42 A St., was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right, no license and no insurance.
