Lockport man with two children in car charged with DWI

A 30-year-old Lockport man was charged with felony DWI after being stopped at a State Police road check on the Lockport Bypass on Friday.

Jeffrey S. Wozniak, 30, of Lockport was found to be driving while intoxicated with two children, ages 10 and 8, in the vehicle. He was charged with felony DWI/Leandra's Law and DWI drugs, according to State Police.

Also charged Friday at the checkpoint was Charles E. Griffith, 31 of Niagara Falls. He was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and about 6 grams of crack cocaine. 

Griffith was also charged with unlawful possession of fireworks after a quantity of fireworks was found in his car.
