An official at the Iroquois Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America hall at 7121 Rochester Road, Lockport, reported Monday that sometime since Aug. 2 the hall had been burglarized.

The suspect forced their way into a storage room and took four shotguns, four rifles, a compound bow and about $300 in ammunition.

The official said dividing doors between the east and west wing o the building were still locked and it didn't appear the suspect gained entry into the west wing.

In addition, the suspect forced their way into several offices leased to another company. Deputies were contacting representatives of that company to determine if anything was taken from the offices.

It wasn't clear initially how the suspect got into the building in the first place. Members of the sheriff's ID unit were called in to process the scene.

The estimated loss is $4,100.
