• INCIDENT: Deputies were called to a Youngstown-Lockport Road on Saturday by a Toronto woman to check the condition of her 92-year-old mother and 60-year-old sister. The woman said she came by to check on them and head her mother yelling and experiencing some kind of medical problem. The woman said her 92-year-old mother has been caring for her 60-year-old sister who has multiple sclerosis and is bed-ridden. The sister said she has been in contact with Niagara County Social Services in an attempt to have her sister placed in a medical facility. The deputy said he tried multiple times to call Adult Protective Services but could not reach anyone. He left a message with a social worker who has been handling the sister's case.
