E-cigarette business in Wheatfield burglarized

WHEATFIELD —

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies responded to a break-in at a business on the 2300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard about 10 a.m. Friday.

The business owner said someone threw a large cinder block through a side window sometime Thursday night and when an alarm didn't sound, entered the business through a back window.

The owner said several items were missing from her display case along with a laptop computer. Items taken include various types of vapor cigarette devices and a  vapor cigar. In addition, about $170 was gone from the register.

It isn't known how much was taken in the burglary since an inventory of items in the store was on the stolen laptop. The initial estimated loss is $1,300.

An investigation into the burglary is continuing.
