BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 13

Niagara Falls

• INCIDENT: Two Falls officers walking near a department store on the 7400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard spotted a man running from the store but were unable to stop him. After losing sight of the man, officers were unable to locate him. A witness said he got into a car and drove off but the license plate number they provided came up not on file. The officers spoke to store staff who reported the man had tried to walk out of the store with $628 worth of merchandise he had not paid for. Police viewed video surveillance of the incident and an investigation is continuing.

North Tonawanda

WARRANT: Angelo M. Hillman, 23, 97 Longfellow Court, Tonawanda, was brought to the North Tonawanda Police Department on a warrant by the U.S. Army and charged with criminal contempt. He was released on his own recognizance. 

DWI: Anthony M. Sanders, 1324 Master Street, Tonawanda, was charged at 2:25 a.m. on Payne Avenue with DWI and inadequate headlights. His blood alcohol content was 0.11 and he was held for court.
