Sheriff's office releases photo of armed robbery suspect

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has released images of the suspect in Saturday's attempted armed robbery of a Wheatfield convenience store. 

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect entered the Kwik Fill at 3945 Niagara Falls Boulevard about 7:30 p.m., pointed a small handgun at a store clerk and demanded money. The clerk was unable to open the cash register and the suspect told him to get on the ground at which point he fled the store. 

The suspect is described as being possibly white, 5-feet-5 tall and with a stocky build. The male wore a red hoodie, dark winter hat, a dark bandanna over his face, black pants, dark gloves and dark colored boots.
