Falls man charged in June robbery

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Kenneth McNeil Jr., 25, of Niagara Falls, in connection with the June 28 robbery of the Sanborn Family Mart.

McNeil was charged with first- and second-degree robbery and was arraigned in Lewiston Town Court. Bail was set at $25,000/$50,000.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information can contact Investigator John Wick at 438-3342. 

 

Niagara Falls

• CHARGED: Jeremy J. Chiappone, 45, Benton, S.C., was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation and two traffic violations about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Chiappone was stopped after failing to signal a turn on Military Road at which point it was discovered he did not have a valid driver's license. A computer check showed he had 15 suspensions with seven scoffs on four dates. He was charged and a passenger in his car was taken by police to a nearby restaurant to await another ride.
