BLOTTER: Police reports published June 28

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 2600 block of Whirlpool Street. A 47-year-old man told police that sometime between 9 p.m., Wednesday, and 5 a.m., Thursday, someone removed the wrought iron railing from his front porch.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 3600 block of Highland Avenue. A 67-year-old man told officers that sometime between June 16 and 4 p.m., Thursday, someone broke into his property by unknown means. The victim said a large amount of copper, some radiators and some clothes were taken.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 8100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 7:10 p.m., Thursday. Kristy J. Licata, 38, 8260 Witkop Ave., was charged with petit larceny. Licata is accused of taking a little more than $11 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1100 block of Haberle Avenue. A 48-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 6 p.m., Sunday, and 6 p.m., Thursday, someone broke into her garage by prying open a door. The victim said her gas grill and her red lawnmower were taken.
