BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 10


• VEHICLE THEFT: Officers are investigating a reported theft of a vehicle which occurred at 6:15 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Fifth Street. The victim, a 35-year-old Falls man, told police he was at a friend’s house when three men approached him. He said one of them punched him in the face, jumped into the car and drove away. According to the report, as the victim was being interviewed, he received a call from the friend, who said the man had given him the keys to his vehicle but not the location. A second phone call during the interview revealed its location, which police transported the victim to. He identified the vehicle, but officers said the engine was not hot like it should have been if recently stolen. They questioned the victim if he was making the story up, but the man reportedly said the theft occurred.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft from a vehicle which occurred between 6:30 and 10 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Woodlawn Avenue. The victim, a 72-year-old woman, said someone entered her vehicle and took two disposable cameras.
