BLOTTER: Police reports published July 17

Niagara Falls

• DWI: Chantel M. Moore, 26, 1541 Whitney Ave., was charged with DWI, unlicensed operation, aggravated unlicensed operation, refusing a chemical test, reckless driving and wrong way down a one-way street about 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to Falls police. Moore was charged on the 1900 block of Pine Avenue. 

• BURGLARY: A resident on the 1900 block of Whitney Avenue told police that they were awoken by a neighbor about 10 p.m. Monday and told two men had just ran from her yard pushing a shopping cart. The two suspects fled down the alley between Whitney and Pierce avenues. When the resident checked the garage, a car jack and tools were gone. The estimated loss is $400.

City of Tonawanda

• MISCHIEF: Cynthia M. Moss, 50, of Woodlee Lane, Grand Island, was charged Tuesday with criminal mischief and leaving the scene of an accident. She allegedly parked on a resident's lawn to go to Canal Fest. She was released.

Town of Lockport

LARCENY: An unknown person removed a sign for Arrowhead Spring Winery sometime over the Fourth of July weekend, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. The owner of the winery believes the sign was removed intentionally and believes "disgruntled" neighbors, who the winery has had run-ins with in the past, may be responsible. The sign was valued at $100.
