BLOTTER: Police reports published July 3

Niagara Falls

• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 2600 block of Spring Street. A 47-year-old woman told officers she was walking in the area at 4:28 p.m., Tuesday and was texting on her phone when a male suspect grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground. The victim said the attacker took some cash from her pants pocket and ran south on Sixth Street.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving after an accident on Packard Road at 9:38 a.m., Tuesday. Jessie-Maria Ann Miller, 21, 203 78th St., was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 9000 block of Zito Drive. A 30-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 7 p.m., Monday, and 7 p.m., Tuesday, someone broke into her apartment by unknown means. The victim said a rented, 70-inch TV and a portable air conditioner were taken.

• ARREST: A Lackawanna man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday. Mulawn P. Johnson, 49, 40 Nelson Ave., was charged with petit larceny.
