• DWI: Patrick J. Brick, 45, 226 Niagara St., North Tonawanda, was charged with DWI, failure to keep right, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and speeding about 7 p.m. Saturday, according to sheriff's deputies. Brick was stopped on Campbell Boulevard for driving erratically and speeding — 63 mph in a 45 mph zone. The deputy said after turning on his patrol car's emergency lights, Brick slowed down but did not stop until he was about a quarter mile down the road. He appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. After being taken into custody, Brick submitted to a breath test and his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.10 percent.
• RECOVERED PROPERTY: A sheriff's deputy was called to the 2100 block of River Road on Saturday where a black purse was found in a driveway. Deputies said the purse, which appeared to belong to a Buffalo woman, had a driver's license, miscellaneous cards and a set of keys inside. There was no cash or credit/debit cards, though.
