NIAGARA FALLS —
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: The owner of a 2000 GMC Tukon reported that sometime between midnight and 12:13 a.m. Friday, an unknown person shattered the rear driver’s side window of his truck while it was parked in the 1800 block of Cleveland Avenue. The victim heard the noise and went outside to see an unknown man in a gray hoodie running west on Cleveland Avenue. The suspect used a broken screwdriver to shatter the window and then attempted to steal a 25-inch television mounted to the interior roof of the vehicle. Damage to the television and window were estimated at $1,200.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police were called to the 2100 block of Jerauld Avenue on Thursday for a report of criminal mischief. A female victim said that sometime between noon Wednesday and 4:15 p.m. Thursday, someone stole both of her rear license plate lamps from her 2004 Cadillac CTS while it was parked on the street. Estimated cost of the missing parts is $300. Police said it does not appear entry was made into the vehicle.
• ARREST: Edwin Rodriguez Jr., 31, 2222 24th St., was charged at 10:50 p.m. Thursday at his home for aggravated criminal contempt, obstructing governmental administration, third-degree assault and second-degree harassment. No further information on the arrest was provided.
