BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 21

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 69-year-old woman told police that sometime between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into her unlocked 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The victim said a gas grill cover was taken.

• THEFT: Police are looking for two suspects in connection with a theft from a store in the 7300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A store employee told officers a male and female suspect were purchasing a pair of cell phones at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. While the employee went to assist another customer, the female suspect grabbed the cell phones and ran from the store. The cell phones were valued at $1,600.

•  ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a traffic stop on Buffalo Avenue at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday. James S. Bannach, 47, 131 68th St., was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, failure to signal and improper right turn.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on a drunken driving charge after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 93rd Street at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday. Yvette Denise Lucantoni, 59, 9102 Cayuga Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

  

Town of Lockport

• CONTRABAND: Dominique Latrice Hunter, 24, 3343 9th St., Niagara Falls, was charged with introducing contraband into prison and unlawful possession of marijuana Tuesday. According to the report, a corrections officer found Hunter with a white balloon underneath her tongue when she was entering the jail visiting room. The balloon contained marijuana, small white papers and several match heads.
