• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 1100 block of Willow Avenue. A 74-year-old man told police that sometime between noon Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. someone entered his backyard and took five aluminum ladders. The victim said the ladders had been chained together with a padlock.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1700 block of LaSalle Avenue. A 56-year-old man told officers that sometime between 1 p.m. Saturday and noon Monday someone broke into his rental property by forcing open a window. The victim said 15 feet of copper pipe and the water meter were removed from the basement of the property.

• VANDALISM: Officers are looking for a suspect, captured on surveillance video, for vandalizing a car in the 300 block of 72nd Street. A 60-year-old man told police sometime between 1:30 and 2 a.m. Tuesday, a male suspect slashed the rear tire on his 2009 Smart car. The incident was captured by multiple surveillance cameras. 

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday. Anne Marie Canino, 51, 442 23rd St., was charged with petit larceny. Canino is accused of taking $92 worth of crab legs without paying for them.
