BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 1

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a report of a burglary that occurred at a home in the 700 block of 15th Street sometime between 10 a.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday. The victim told police someone shattered a glass window on the south side of his garage and stole several items, including tools and a knife. Total loss was listed at $1,600. 

 
• BURGLARY: A man living in the 4800 block of University Court reported the theft of several items from his apartment Sunday. According to reports, the victim told police that he returned to his apartment following Christmas break on Sunday to find a broken window on the rear of his building and several items missing from his home, including a 24-inch, flat-screen television and an XBox 360 game system. Total loss was listed at $600.
