Three charged in Town of Niagara burglaries

Niagara Gazette — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of three people suspected of several Town of Niagara burglaries.

The arrests follow a joint investigation by the Town of Niagara Police Department and the sheriff's office into several burglaries and thefts in the Porter Road area.

Niagara County Sheriff's investigators interviewed several people and recovered items that are believed to have been stolen.

Arrested were:

• Anthony D. Evrard, 29, charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny

• Kyle V. Swinger, 27, charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property

• Elizabeth G. Vanness, 31, charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property

They are all residents of the Town of Niagara.
