Suspect sought in robbery of Main Street bank

Niagara Gazette — Falls police are looking for the city's fourth bank robbery suspect of 2013. 

The hold-up man walked into the First Niagara Bank branch in the 800 block of Main Street around 1:20 p.m. Monday. Investigators said he gave a teller a threatening note but did not display a weapon. 

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled from the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, in his early 20s. Witnesses said the robber appeared to be about 5-foot-9 weighing approximately 160 pounds with a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a scarf covering part of his face. 

Detectives have released a camera security camera photo of the suspect and they're seeking help from the public in identifying him. Anyone who may have information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact Falls Police Criminal Investigation Division detectives at 286-4553 .
