Image released of suspect in New Year's Eve gas station robbery

New York State Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect in a Dec. 29 robbery at a Williams Road gas station and are looking for the public's help in identifying the man.

The suspect entered the NOCO Express, 6724 Williams Road, Wheatfield, about 10:39 p.m. and displayed a box cutter while demanding money from the clerk.

The suspect appeared to be between 5’10” and 6’ tall with a heavy build. The photo shows the suspect wearing a black jacket, a grey hooded zippered sweatshirt with pockets, grey sweatpants, and black gloves.

The robbery is one in a series that occurred between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. State Police, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and detectives with the Lockport Police Department are investigating the robberies.
