Woman charged with DWI after rollover crash on Wyoming Avenue

A Falls woman was arrested on drunken driving and other traffic charges after slamming into a parked car on Wyoming Avenue and rolling her SUV over.

Maria Marshall, 51, 4661 Patricia Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated, no inspection and unsafe land change.

Officers said they responded to the 1200 block of Wyoming Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Sunday and found Marshall's 2012 Honda CRV rolled over on the driver's side.

Police said Marshall had an odor of alcohol and when they asked her if she had been drinking, she replied, "Yes. I was drinking scotch." When officers asked her how man drinks she had, they said she counted to six and then stopped.

Officers said they found an open bottle of Dewars White Label scotch on by the driver's seat in Marshall's vehicle.
