Duke Senior Center still under repair, some programs impacted

The John Duke Senior Center on Hyde Park Boulevard is still undergoing repairs from flood damage caused by a severe thunderstorm on July 19.

Niagara Falls Department of Public Works Director David Kinney stressed that while the bulk of the building is closed to the public as repairs continue, the Niagara County nutrition program remains open on a daily basis.

The nutrition program at the Duke Center is open to the public starting at 11:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.

For additional information, call the Duke Center at 297-9324.
