Comedian/actor Mike Epps to speak on anti-bullying efforts at Doris Jones Resource Center

Comedian/actor Mike Epps will be speaking on anti-bullying efforts during a special event set for 5 p.m. Friday at the Doris Jones Resource Center.

The event is open to the public. During the talk, Mayor Paul Dyster will present Epps with a proclamation and key to the city. Then Epps is off to the Seneca Niagara Casino for his 8 p.m. performance. 

“We are so excited that Mike Epps is in town and especially grateful that he is showing up in our community and giving voice to the anti-bullying issue,” said Dyster.

As a prolific stand-up comedian, actor, film producer, writer and rapper, Mike Epps has 45 movie appearance credits ranging from acting in “Next Friday," "Stealing Cars," "Nina," and "The Hangover,” several credits producing and writing films, a soundtrack and music appearance in an Alicia Keyes video.  When not filming, Epps returns to his roots of stand-up comedy.
