Lockport woman announced as big Tops Monopoly winner

This afternoon, Tops Friendly Markets will award Wendy Herman of Lockport a $25,000 prize from the ongoing Monopoly Collect and Win game.

The ceremonial check-awarding will take place at the Tops location on Lockport-Olcott Road.

In its fourth year of play, the Monopoly game is the first of its kind for a grocer in the area and allows customers to play every time they check-out at a Tops Markets location.

Prizes and money saving offers total $20 million, with top prizes including ten $100,000 cash payouts, up to six $50,000 home makeovers, up to six $30,000 vehicles, and up to ten $10,000 Jet Skis. Other great prizes included multiples chances to win Free Groceries for a Year, LED Smart-3D HD TVs, Darien Lake Family Vacations and Apple iPad Minis®. 

The Tops Monopoly Collect and Win Game runs through Saturday.
