Pints for Progress previewing Park Place Market

Attendees of this month's Pints for Progress event on Wednesday will get an early glimpse of the Park Place Market, located at Park Place and Main Street.

The Niagara Falls group meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the market, 630-640 Park Place. The cost is $10 and includes food and drink.

This month’s event gives the community a sneak peak at the Park Place Market, opening in the heart of Niagara Falls’ Park Place Historic District on Saturday. The Park Place Market will provide convenient, downtown access to fresh plantings, produce, local delicacies, unique artisan offerings and other specialty items.

In addition, everyone at the meeting is asked to pitch a community benefit project. The winning project receives the dinner proceeds.
