— Did Hurricane Sandy have any impact on local Halloween plans?

The answer is no.

The super storm — which arrived in the area with less force than expected — will not disrupt trick or treating schedules in the city or several surrounding towns.

In Niagara Falls, Mayor Paul Dyster said Halloween will be celebrated today with trick or treating taking place between 4 and 7 p.m.

The trick and treating schedule in neighboring communities is as follows:

• Town of Lewiston: 4 to 7 p.m.
• Town of Wheatfield: 4 to 7 p.m.
• Town of Niagara: 4 to 7 p.m.
• Town of Porter: 5 to 7:30 p.m.
• Village of Youngstown: 5 to 7:30 p.m.
