Eggstravaganza set at Power Vista

The New York Power Authority will hold its annual “Eggstravaganza,” which features free photos with Bunny, on April 5 at the Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Road.

Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include a scavenger hunt, food sold by Boy Scout Troop 855 of Lewiston, crafts and face painting by members of the Lockport YMCA Teen Leaders group.

Free Safety ID packets will be distributed to interested parents, guardians, college students and seniors. The package will include a personalized compact disc with a digital photograph, fingerprints and other vital statistics for the individual, all helpful in a search for a missing loved one.

Free rides on the Niagara Scenic Trolley, between the Power Vista and the Gorge Discovery Center, will be offered.

Admission to the Power Vista is free. Attractions include exhibits on the production of electricity, energy efficiency and area history.
