Pool work takes sea lions off display at Aquarium of Niagara

Niagara Gazette — The California Sea Lions at the Aquarium of Niagara are on a temporary break from showing off their skills through Jan. 18.

The sea lions went off display on Monday as their pool is usually scraped, sanded and painted every two years.

Call the Aquarium at 285-3575 ext. 203 to make sure the pool has reopened on Jan. 18.

In addition, the aquarium will be closed on Monday.

Except for Monday, the aquarium will be open for visitors at half-price admission ($5) for adults; $3 for children. The second floor will not be open to the public, however.
