JOED VIERA/CONTRIBUTOR YOUNG ARTIST: Cheryl Smith watches as her daughter Skylar paint her face during the first of Artpark's Free Family Saturdays this past weekend. The fun runs every Saturday through July 27 from noon to 4 p.m. in Artpark's Outdoor Amphitheater. N.U.R.T. (Niagara University Repertory Theatre) will perform each week along with other guest performers. A variety of free "Make and Take" workshops are available. These include, The Paint Space, Costume Closet, Sand Box, Face Painting, and the Pottery Wheel. Next week features art of the '80s workshops. "Story Faces" Facepaint Artist at noon, 1 and 3 p.m. and N.U.R.T. at 2 p.m.
